Listening to podcasts through iTunes and iPod is certainly a straight forward process. But if like me you don’t own an iPod you can still listen to podcasts.
Depending on the MP3 player you use this tutorial may vary. If for example you have to use software to put MP3s on your player (e.g. some Sony phones and Walkmans) the process won’t be exactly the same.

Recent iPods have the ability to show pictures, hyperlinks and can include chapter markers. Often these enhanced AAC podcasts won’t work on standard MP3 players. Most podcasts will offer an MP3 option – but not if you subscribe to podcast via iTunes.
